The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We talk about what brings you here, your background and what you hope to achieve, and agree on a plan together. You are welcome to ask any questions.

Yes. Confidentiality is central to professional psychological practice. Its limits — for example, where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others — are explained at the start of your first session.

Yes. Online sessions take place over a secure video platform. See the Online Consultation page for details on how they work and what you need.

Most individual sessions last around 50 minutes. Couples and family sessions may be longer.

Yes. Use the private link in your confirmation email to request a new time or cancel. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice.

No. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
