Depression Support

Compassionate support for low mood, loss of interest and feelings of hopelessness, at a pace that feels manageable.

About this service

Low mood can make everyday life feel heavy. Psychological support offers a safe space to talk about how you are feeling and to gradually explore steps that may help.

Who may benefit

  • People experiencing persistent sadness, low energy or loss of interest
  • Those who feel stuck, withdrawn or self-critical
  • People who have been advised by a doctor to seek psychological support

What to expect

Early sessions focus on understanding your experience and current difficulties. Together we agree on goals and approaches, which may include exploring patterns of thinking and behaviour and building supportive routines. Where appropriate, coordination with your doctor can be discussed with your consent.

If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, please seek immediate help from local emergency services.

Consultation format

Sessions are typically 50 minutes and are available in person at the clinic or online through a secure video platform. The frequency of sessions is agreed together, based on your needs and preferences.

Psychological support is individual; experiences and outcomes vary from person to person.
